When I first started my GLP journey, every little change in my body made me nervous. ⚡ Low energy 🌀 Strange digestion 🤷‍♀️ Days where I just felt… off (and of course my brain immediately went to worst case scenario) My first thought was always the same: “Something must be wrong with me.” What I wish someone had told me earlier is this. Most side effects aren’t your body failing. They’re your body adjusting. For me, fatigue was the hardest part. There were days I honestly wondered if this was even worth it. (not dramatic… just really tired and questioning everything) I didn’t experience every side effect people talk about, but the ones I did have felt big enough to make me second guess the whole thing. Looking back now, nothing was “wrong” with me. I was just under-supported. Once I stopped panicking and focused on the basics, things started feeling steadier. 💧 Hydration 🍽️ Eating enough even when hunger felt quiet 🧠 Supporting stress ✨ Adding daily support where my body needed it (nothing extreme… just consistency) That’s why I talk about this stuff openly now. Not to scare anyone. But so you don’t quit something that could help you just because your body needs a little time to adjust. This series is for those moments when you feel unsure and need reassurance, not pressure. This is Part 1 of my What I Learned the Hard Way on a GLP series. Real life. No pressure. Yes, I might be one of the only people actually speaking about a negative experience on GLP-1. Because everything I saw a year ago and even now is promotion. “Side effects are rare.” “Nothing serious.” But let’s be real for a second: you can literally die from pancreatitis. It’s been 6 months since my diagnosis. My digestive system is still not back to normal. And I don’t even know if it ever will be. And yes , I did everything “right.” – I drank water (a lot of it) – I ate 100–120g of protein daily – I took vitamins multiple times a day – fiber, digestive enzymes, electrolytes – I followed every “rule” And still… this happened. I’m not here to scare you. I’m here to say what no one else is saying. If even one person watches this and pauses before making a decision just because “everyone is on it”, then this is worth it. #glp1community #glp1pancreatitis
