In the video (around 0:28) I start experimenting with different lighting setups. Being able to relight Gaussian splats instantly changes the mood and turns a scan into something completely new. There are no 3D objects or meshes in this scene! it’s only the raw Gaussian Splat scan. Techie stuff: captured in 10-bit Log with my DJI Osmo action 6, trained as Gaussian Splats, rendered and relit in Octane with a physically based camera and lens simulation.
