Choosing a math curriculum can feel overwhelming — especially when you’re planning for multiple children across many years.
There isn’t one “perfect” program. There are different tools for different learners, goals, and seasons of homeschooling.
This list reflects our real K–12 experience in a large family homeschool — print curricula, online programs, early foundations, supplements, and widely recommended options. Many families mix and match successfully (including us).
Strong math foundations matter because children don’t always know their future path from a young age.
Doors to STEM fields, college admissions, trades, and many scholarships require algebra and beyond.

Also, please know that many of these companies offer free samples, downloads, or trials. Some may be available at your library in print or through the library's digital offerings. You'd also be surprised what you can find in a free little library, at the thrift store, or in the library bookshop!
