MAOur Athletics Teams celebrated great success recently, with three big meets in the calendar.
At the District Athletics Championships, the Inter Team came second overall, beating local independent and state schools convincingly. Holly R won the 100m and equalled the District record that has been held for 50 years! She also won the 300m event, beating the record from 2012 and qualifying for the Surrey Schools Championships.
Seren P-J won the High Jump and Hurdles, also qualifying for the Surrey Schools Championships.
Isabelle W came second in the Triple Jump and won the 1500m, beating the District record from 2008 and qualifying for the Surrey Schools Championships!
Other individual highlights include: Meg W, 2nd in Javelin, Anna S, 3rd in Shot, Ellie G, 3rd in Discus, Amelie C, 4th in Discus, Scarlett McS, 3rd in High Jump and 4th in 100m final.
