SWSupply & Demand Trading: 4 Rules for Valid Setups!
Mastering Supply and Demand trading requires strict validation! Don't get caught in invalid setups. If your supply and demand zones don't meet these criteria, they're not ready for action.
First, look for an aggressive move away from a balanced area, confirmed by a Fair Value Gap (FVG). This signals strong institutional interest. Second, validate the move with a clear Break of Structure (BoS) or Change of Character (CHoCH) that shows a shift in market control. Third, the return to your zone *must* be slow and controlled – impulsive moves invalidate the setup.
Learn to plot your trades precisely:
📈 For a BUY setup: Enter at the high of the last red candle, place your stop loss below the zone, and target the previous swing high.
📉 For a SELL setup: Enter at the low of the last green candle, place your stop loss above the zone, and target the previous swing low.

At the low of the day, I noticed heavy sellers aggressively trying to push the price lower. Massive effort, very little result.
That kind of imbalance often signals absorption.
It takes some guts to go against bigger players as a small retail trader, but sometimes that’s exactly where the opportunity is.
So I stepped in against them and rode the squeeze.
Remember: when sellers exit their positions, they have to buy back.
Sellers covering = buying pressure → and I ride that wave.
The order book is probably the closest thing retail traders have to a holy grail…

TRMost traders try to call a trend reversal too early.

A real shift happens when price breaks the last lower high and forms a higher low. That’s a break of structure, one of the clearest signals that momentum is changing.
