🌞Questo splendido altare, creato dalla Parrocchia Matrice di Partanna, ha la forma di un teatro all’italiana

🌞 La scena principale raffigura il secondo sogno di San Giuseppe in cui l’angelo lo invita a scappare in Egitto con Maria e il Bambinello

You’ll never regift a panettone again 🇮🇹🥚🍊
Panettone & Citrusy Zabaglione Recipe:
Serves: 6-8 | Prep & Cook Time: 12-15 minutes
Ingredients:
2 large egg yolks
¼ cup granulated sugar
8 oz mascarpone, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp rum (optional)
Zest of ½ orange or lemon
Pinch of salt
For serving:
Panettone
Berries
Instructions:
Set Up the Double Boiler:
1. Fill a saucepan with 1–2 inches of water.
2. Bring to a gentle simmer (not a rolling boil).
3. Place a heatproof bowl on top - it should not touch the water.
Step-by-Step:
1. In the bowl, whisk yolks and sugar until pale and slightly thick.
2. Whisk constantly for 4–6 minutes until the mixture is thick, glossy, and ribbons (temperature reaches about 160°F) and it looks like soft custard. If it gets too hot, lift the bowl off the heat and keep whisking.
3. Remove from heat. Whisk in vanilla, rum and citrus zest.
4. Allow mixture to cool 3–5 minutes (warm, not hot).
5. Gently fold mascarpone in by hand until smooth.
Do not beat — stop as soon as combined.
6. Slice panettone and toast it.
7. Pour spread over the slice of panettone while warm or if desired, chill 15–30 minutes for a slightly firmer spread. Serve with berries on side.
