SUWhat happens when a sin turns into a declaration of war?
There is only one sin in the Qur’an
where Allah says,
I am at war.
Riba.
Imagine entering a battlefield
where your opponent is Allah.
There is no strength.
No strategy.
No winning.
And then we ask,
“Why is my life full of problems?”
Allah gives us a principle:
When good deeds rise,
good conditions descend.
When corruption rises,
hardship follows.
We fix the surface —
but ignore the source.
We pray.
We fast.
We make du‘a.
But we keep what Allah declared war against.
Riba doesn’t just affect money.
It blocks barakah.
It disrupts peace.
It invites trials.
Leaving it isn’t always instant.
It takes sincerity.
A plan.
And tawakkul.
But the first step is honesty with Allah.
You don’t fight Allah and win.
You return to Him —
and He makes a way out.
