SOBleach tarnishes Silver and Silver Plate ⚠️
I read bleach is bad for Steel also but still don’t see any noticeable damage over an hour later.
I do see where the steel was rubbed and can feel the bleach spots when rubbing my thumbs over it. Maybe a residue? Possible damage? Will add more and look back tomorrow.
It does seem to cause quick, irreversible damage, on the Silver.
I was emailing with @OzkAltBldgCo and he thinks a cotton ball with vinegar may remove it. Worth a try if you’re ever using this testing method.
Not sure how bleach would react on other metals.
