Add celery, bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Add the butter and season with chicken bouillon, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper. Pour in the chicken broth. Ingredients 1½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth 2 (10.5 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup 3 teaspoons garlic minced 1 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 1 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon onion powder ½ teaspoon dried thyme 12 ounce bag frozen mixed vegetables ½ cup sour cream 8 ounce cream cheese 1½ cups cheddar cheese grated 16 ounces penne pasta or small noodle pasta Directions 1- Add chicken broth, chicken soup, garlic, black pepper, Italian seasoning, paprika, onion powder, thyme, and mixed vegetables. THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE WORKED But when you think about it beef curry with spicy roast potatoes and some torn onion bhajis for the crunch❤️ But it’s really a curry cottage pie with everything extra you could want. For the curry * 2 tbsp oil * 700g braising steak cut chunky * 1 tbsp butter * 400g frozen onions * 2 Tbs garlic ginger paste * Half tsp mild chilli powder * 1 tsp turmeric * 2 tsp ground coriander * 2 tsp Garam masala * 2 black cardamons crushed * 400g chopped tomatoes * 300ml beef stock * 1 tbs honey Simmer for 2 hours until pull apart * 1
Heat one tbsp of oil on a medium-high heat. Season the beef and fry for 5-8 mins, turning half way until evenly browned. Set aside on a plate.

Heat the remaining oil and butter in the pan and add the onions. Fry gently for 15 mins or until golden and caramelised. Add the garlic/ ginger, chilli, turmeric, ground coriander and cardamom and fry for two mins. Tip in the tomatoes, stock and honey and bring to the simmer. * 3
Add the beef, put a lid on top of the curry and cook over a low heat for 2 hrs or until the meat is tender pull apart. Remove the lid for the last 20 minutes of cooking They stir through in the last 20 mins * 2 tsp Garam Masala * 2 tbsp double cream * Chopped coriander Put all the curry in an ovenproof dish and wait for the potatoes to crisp. Par boil 3 large potatoes and roast as you do in the oven - and once the potatoes are crispy then tumble them into a dish with two tablespoons of butter and 2 tsp garam masala, sprinkle of salt and pepper and place on top of the curry with the added spices on them. I have added some torn apart bhajis for some texture and no I didn’t make them - and pop it back in the oven at fan 180°C for at least 10 - 12 mins BUT WATCH THEM CLOSELY More coriander and chilli to serve OMG EPIC. Shred for bowls or lettuce wraps. 2️⃣ Lean Beef & Veggie Stew 1½ lbs lean beef + carrots + celery + turnips/potatoes + 3 cups broth + herbs. Cook 7–8 hrs. 3️⃣ Turkey Taco Meat 2 lbs 99% lean turkey + taco seasoning + fire-roasted tomatoes. Cook 4–5 hrs. Perfect for taco salads. 4️⃣ Pulled Pork (Trimmed + Balanced) 2 lbs pork shoulder + garlic + smoked paprika + splash ACV. Cook 8 hrs. Portion with slaw + roasted veggies. 5️⃣ Sausage, White Bean & Spinach Stew 4 chicken or turkey sausages + 1 can white beans + broth + garlic + spinach. The EASIEST lazy caramelized onions!!! 🧅 This slow cooker caramelized onion method changes the game for fall recipes. Freeze in silicone cubes for soups, dips, pasta, or literally anything. 🤎 🧅 Slow Cooker Caramelized Onions (Batch Prep Method) Serves: ~2½ cups cooked onions Total Time: ~12–13 hours (hands-off) Ingredients • 4 lb yellow onions (about 6–8 medium) • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted (or olive oil if preferred) • 1½ tsp kosher salt • Optional: ½ tsp sugar (helps speed caramelization slightly) Method: Peel and thinly slice your onions (about ⅛–¼ inch thick). Toss the slices directly in your slow cooker or multi cooker with the melted butter and salt until evenly coated. Cook on LOW for 12 hours — overnight works perfectly. If using an @ourplace dream cooker, do medium heat for slow cooking. Not sure why, but low didn’t fully caramelize them for me! Resist stirring too often; once or twice is enough. After 12 hours, the onions will be soft, golden, and sweet, but with extra liquid. Strain off the liquid to remove any excess moisture. If you’re using a traditional slow cooker, transfer the onions to a skillet and sauté over medium heat for 8–10 minutes until glossy and deeply caramelized for that extra umph! If you’re using the instant pot or another multi cooker, switch to the sauté function on high heat and cook directly in the pot until the onions turn jammy and rich. Taste and season with more salt if needed. Cool completely on a chilled sheet pan, then spoon into silicone ice cube trays or small containers. Freeze for up to 3 months — pop out cubes anytime for soups, dips, sauces, or pasta. On Sundays, we slow cook 🫶 it’s the best gift to myself for the week ahead - minimal effort on Sunday, and a guaranteed meal throughout the week if I can’t be bothered to cook! ��I’ll usually keep a couple of portions out in the fridge, then freeze the rest, and after a few weeks I have such a variety of meals in the slow cooker! It really does help me so much! It’s Lunar New Year this coming week, so I went with Chinese inspired flavours here. You could also do this with pork or chicken if you wanted! Serves 6: ❤️ Add 750g lean diced beef to the slow cooker 🧡 Add in 100ml hoisin sauce, couple tbsp dark soy sauce, tbsp sesame oil, and add enough stock to just cover the beef - I used about 200/250ml rich beef stock 💛 Cook on low for 8+ hours or high for 5-6 💚 Once cooked and soft, gently shred the beef. I like to leave the lid off the slow cooker and turn the heat up to high for an hour just to thicken the sauce up a bit too. You could also add some cornflour if you’re in a rush! 🩵 I love spring onions and sesame seeds on top of mine, and I’ve had it so many different ways - in Chinese pancakes, in lettuce cups (good for lunches), on top of rice, noodles, salt and pepper chips.. in wraps or on burger buns!
