April US-Ortszeit am Abend) 🕒 US-Zeit: 10. April, 20:07 Uhr EDT 🕒 Europa-Zeit: 11. April, 02:07 Uhr MESZ Während des Wiedereintritts wird die Orion-Kapsel extremen Bedingungen ausgesetzt sein, darunter Geschwindigkeiten von rund 25.000 mph sowie Temperaturen von bis zu 2.700°C. Zudem wird eine kurze Funkstille erwartet, verursacht durch ein ionisiertes Plasma, das sich um die Kapsel bildet. Nach der Wasserlandung werden Bergungsteams der NASA und der US Navy die Kapsel sichern, die Astronauten unterstützen und sie für medizinische Untersuchungen transportieren.
