i’ve been saying we’re stardust for eons, but…. omg 😱 just wow. tell me why they look absolutely magical!!!!! they look like crystals. like tiny galaxies. like little shards of light. like something sacred. not an ending. not “gone.” not nothing. just… transformed. and it cracked something open in me. we spend our whole lives terrified of loss. terrified of death. terrified of things ending. but science literally says: energy can’t be created or destroyed. only changed. so what if nothing we love ever actually disappears? what if our grandparents are still here, just rearranged into air and light and ocean and sky? what if every hug, every laugh, every “i love you,” every version of us… just keeps changing form? matter → energy → memory → soul → something else entirely. it makes me look at my kids differently. at jonathan differently. at my own body differently. like… this isn’t temporary in the way we think.
