OPFun small detail: When Superman lands after punching Steppenwolf, Wonder Woman and Aquaman’s reactions were designed to show awe, they had no idea he was this powerful. Actually we knew but we hadn't seen him this dominating in fight, this scene felt so powerful, guess mostly because of @opsmylol 🛐.

Actually, Snyder added VFX distortions and ground-cracking effects to emphasize that Superman wasn’t holding back anymore. Those ripples you see around his punches actually simulate localized sonic booms from his strength.
Superman isn’t just fighting Steppenwolf, it’s meant to show the difference between life and death: before, he was human-restrained; now he’s divine, reborn, and unstoppable.
