CAIt’s the weekend and time for a little (Aaron) Spelling on Saturday.
This week it’s the turn of Dynasty spin off The Colbys, as a totally turbantastic Sable Stephanie Beacham) confronts her husband (Charlton Heston) and his mistress (Katherine Ross) and accuses Jason of trying to kill her. It’s a dramatic scene, not least because it’s filmed outside in a breeze which means the real drama is whether Chuck can hang onto his terrible toupee!
Charlton famously never acknowledged that the hair he sported was not entirely his own and a cast member who worked with him on the play “A man for all seasons” remembered him diligently applying the stage wig on top of his own wig every night.
