LYBTS of how we sourced the 2nd hand clothing for our @lime collab 💚
We partnered with @traid and went to their warehouse to source all the materials. We had a really insightful tour, learning all about how the warehouse works and how it’s all sorted. When I started my brand in 2019, I used to source unsellable items from the Traid warehouse so it was a nice circle going back for this partnership ♻️
The clips are from @areyoumad.co who recycle waste plastic by shredding it down and remoulding. Are You Mad are one of my fave creative & conscious collectives and they make so much cool stuff (urm Selfridges displays, Carnaby display) so it was amazing to be the clips from them ♻️

The Mind Flayer is terrifying because he does not fight like a normal villain. He is not just a monster — he is more like a dark intelligence controlling an entire nightmare world. In Seasons 1, 2, and 3, he feels like the true ruler of the Upside Down. Even when he is not fully visible, his presence is everywhere.
Season 1
In Season 1, the main visible creature is the Demogorgon, but the bigger evil behind the Upside Down is already being built in the background. The season introduces the danger of another dimension, and that danger eventually leads to the Mind Flayer’s larger influence. So Season 1 is more like the setup for his dominance rather than his full reveal.
Season 2
Season 2 is where the Mind Flayer truly becomes the main villain. He is powerful because he can possess minds, especially Will Byers, and use fear, pain, and psychological control instead of just physical attacks. That makes him more dangerous than a simple monster. He watches, learns, spreads, and controls. He is basically a hive-mind ruler. Every creature connected to the Upside Down can become part of his network. That means when you fight one part of him, you are never fighting all of him.
Season 3
In Season 3, the Mind Flayer becomes even more horrifying because he starts using human bodies. Through Billy and the Flayed, he builds a disgusting physical form in Hawkins. This makes him feel unstoppable because he is no longer trapped only in the Upside Down — he is invading the real world directly. He manipulates people, creates monsters from flesh, and turns Hawkins into a battlefield. That is why he feels like the most terrifying villain of the first three seasons.
Now the story shifts heavily to Henry Creel / Vecna.
Season 4 reveals that Vecna is not just another monster — he is deeply connected to the Upside Down and becomes the main face of evil. He is smarter, more personal, and more psychological than the Mind Flayer. He attacks trauma, fear, guilt, and weakness directly.
