We started using these Topstar Fasteners from @u2fasteners in 2017 to install exterior doors and we haven't looked back since. Once we used them on a few installs, it just clicked. There is nothing more satisfying than returning to a previous job site and noticing that one of the exterior doors we've installed has expanded or contracted and being able to micro adjust it perfectly. We have found that every time that has happened, one adjustment is all that's necessary. We never have to do it again. There is another company that has attempted very poorly to replicate the U2 fastener version of the top star. We tried them. Not only are the bits trash, the actual fasteners rust easily and we have even seen them snap a few times. That's why we stick with the original from U2. These adjustable boxes will be perfect for the thicker materials we are installing on these knee walls. . . . Side note - The @flexpowertoolsna cordless router is fantastic. Smooth & powerful. Also we love the ergonomics and adjustment controls.
