Truth time: Gifted students are often highly creative and thrive when they’re given choice. That’s where tools like choice boards come in. They allow learners to explore content in ways that speak to their interests and strengths. Choice boards provide the autonomy that many of our gifted learners need in the learning environment.
And remember: two choices are a choice. It doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful.

LIActivating student curiosity requires creating an environment that encourages exploration, questioning, and a sense of wonder. And boy do students at Life School demonstrate that sense of wonder every day. As GT Teacher Angie Silguero shares, "What a diverse group of kiddos we get to work with. I get the pleasure of working with all levels of giftedness and creativity. Watching them grow as they learn new things and how well they use their critical thinking skills. I enjoy watching them hit the ground running to research, problem solve and discuss with their peers what their perception is.
