Test part headed out to Xometry this morning. In order to become a supplier for Xometry, you have to machine a part to the specifications they provide. They give you two weeks, and you have to order the material, order tools, program the part to the drawing, inspect and ship. This part was fairly easy to make. It did have a diameter tolerance of +/- 0.001", and a linear width of +/- 0.001". Two surface finish requirements of 16Ra and 32Ra. Everything else was +/- 0.005". This was made on my Fadal 3016 that I have in my garage. I tell my neighbors it's an industrial washing machine.
