How to Properly Peel Mandarin Oranges - Consider this Part 1 of my kitchen tips&tricks series - I loooveee mandarins but hate the outer layer, and this makes them so much more juicy! Ps: you can find pectic enzyme on Amazon, your local bulk store, or some grocers! - Preparation: 1. Peel the outer layer of your mandarins (or any citrus), then place the segments in an air tight container. 2. Submerge fully in water, and sprinkle in a bit of pectic enzyme. I usually use about 1/2tsp per litre - a little goes a long way! Close the lid then shake it to mix the enzyme in fully and set in the fridge. 3. After 24hrs in the fridge, rinse the oranges and enjoy! - #healthyrecipe #easyrecipe #kitchenhacks #cookingtips #explore

What to do if your wolfdog or ‘dog’ gets an animal whilst walking.. Well in Rivers case, he literally ‘picked the rabbit up’ whilst on the leash. It was dark and we couldn’t see it but a few local rabbits have been Ill with Myxomatosis so even though it doesn’t affect dogs, you still should try and remove a sick prey animal from your dog just incase. With wolfdogs, they are VERY INTENSE over caught prey or dead animals they find on walks and this intensity means they WILL NOT give it up. They try to run away with it and will clamp their mouths tightly shut. Trying to get it will get you bitten so this is what you do. Make a trade! Go to the larder and find something BETTER. You then offer the better snack and snatch the dead animal fast. Luckily for me River dropped it and as he was still leashed I quickly removed it and gave him a nice high value dog bone as compensation. If you don’t trade and try and force your dog to give it to you, mid to high content wolfdogs will HOLD A GRUDGE so don’t! I’ve seen it with my own eyes 👀 #wolfdog #wolf #wolfdogbehavior #wolfdogtraining #predator

The trimmings end up in giant plastic bags, so instead I'm turning my cardboard scrap into a floral masterpiece. And adding a little whimsy back into spring 🌼🩷 Such a simple and beautiful craft that gets you moving outside! I even ended up walking longer than usual as I discovered so many flowers blooming in different spots all around the park. You don't need anything fancy. Just cut up an old box, draw a vase, and punch some holes. 🌷Save this for your next nature walk!
