TOWorld’s First FF AF Anamorphic Lens 🎥
This is the Astra 50mm T1.8 1.33x anamorphic full frame autofocus lens by @siruiimaging , for Sony E mount. This is a little asmr unboxing, but I have been testing it out , and it seems to be doing a much better job at autofocus vs their previous APSC autofocus anamorphics.
The focus motors are much quieter, and seem to pull focus more accurately, more quickly, and more smoothly than those in the older APSC version.
I’ll be testing it out some more in the real world and gathering more sample footage - so stick around.
Sirui sent this lens to me. No agreement for content was made, but I wanted to get this on your radar in case you haven’t seen it.
