Here’s a fun way to direction change! Once you learn it I can guarantee you won’t go back to a regular transition😋 Common mistakes: 👹 Going in with too much speed in the direction of travel. If you do not hover on the spot, then you will be travelling one way while your kite dives the other way and, like a pendulum, you will sink upon landing. So, really focus on coming to a halt. 👹 Not diving the kite hard enough for the landing in the new direction. Most likely, this means you won’t ride out, but rather sink and then ride. Try diving the kite sooner or harder if this happening. 👹 Not pointing the foot downwind for landing. It should feel like a smooth landing. If you feel like your skidding in the new direction, look at the board. Apart from these common mistakes it’s a very achievable move.
