My 3 non-negotiables ⬇️ I post a lot about studying, my business, and other productivity things, and so many people have asked how I’m able to get so much done. How do I stay focused? How do you achieve so much? How do you never get distracted? The truth is… I’m no different to you. I used to procrastinate, get distracted, stress out over work. This is completely normal and you aren’t alone in facing these things. However, over the years, I’ve discovered a handful of ways to keep myself on task, and have a clear system to use every day, centred around 3 non-negotiables: 1️⃣ Exercise every single morning Usually I go to the gym, sometimes I run… either way I try to get my heart rate up in some way as this wakes me up and gives me so much energy for the day. 2️⃣ No social media before 12pm This is a big one that I’ve only started recently. I know just how much of an impact scrolling has on my energy and focus, so I save it until I’ve gotten my highest priority work done for the day. 3️⃣ Get ready every day Get dressed. Brush my teeth. Do skincare. If I don’t do these things, my mind assumes today is a rest day and I know I won’t get anything meaningful done. We all have different rituals that help us, and this is simply what works best for me 💌 #student #podcast #study #entrepreneurship #womeninbusiness #entrepreneur #medicine

Start here: If you’re serious about becoming productive then I challenge you to read this and save it for later… The Active Defiance Method: The Active Defiance Method tricks your brain into becoming productive and disciplined by using its own negative thoughts as triggers. This is how it works: 1. The first step is simple. Recognise when you have thoughts of being lazy. This could be the thought of snoozing your alarm instead of getting up or choosing to scroll on your phone instead of studying. 2. Turn them into triggers - now you are aware of your thoughts, use them as triggers to do the opposite. This is where the “defiance” part comes in. So if you have the thought of not wanting to workout, that’s means you really should workout. Make it a game. Challenge yourself and actively defy your thoughts in favour of the long term results! 3. Repeat - do this consistently for a couple of weeks and you’ll begin to regain control over your mind again, having it align with your goals instead of sabotaging you in the long term. This is exactly what I used every time i didn’t want to study and it guaranteed i was productive!
