Guys one of the most underrated abilities you can have is the ability to overcome adversity. Things do not always go to plan. A good plan can still fail. A bad plan is more likely to fail. As long as you can accept you might have to change the plan, or even change your thinking, to reach the goal. Sometimes the Plan is fine, but it just doesn't go. Don't beat yourself up. Re-plan it. Get a Clear headspace. Look at what worked. Touch on what didn't. Adapt to suit. Life's never going to be perfect. But we can make it practical.

I spent most of my life faking it really well. Crushing it on the outside. Quietly falling apart on the inside. New job. New relationship. New city. Same pattern underneath. In school I barely ever turned in my homework. But I'd ace every test and walk away with Bs and Cs. Everyone assumed I wasn't applying myself. That wasn't it. I figured out early that if you never fully commit... you never fully fail. You keep the dream alive. You can always say... "imagine what I could've done if I'd actually tried." That's not laziness. That's protection. And that same part showed up everywhere in my adult life. In ways I'm not proud of. In patterns I ran for decades before I understood where they came from. There's a reason this started. I'll share that story later this week. It's the one I've never told publicly. If any of this sounds familiar... you're not broken. You're protected.
