And right now, as I am posting this, it is under threat. A vote on HJ RES 140 is happening TODAY at 10am CT. If it passes, it overturns the federal mining ban protecting the Boundary Waters and opens the door to toxic copper mining along the waterways that flow directly into it. I need you to stop scrolling right now and make one phone call. Five minutes. That is all this takes. 👉 Call your senators and tell them to vote NO on HJ RES 140. 👉 Use @5calls to find your reps, search BWCA, and use their sample script. 👉 If you get voicemail, leave your full street address so your call is counted. Even with bug spray, bug nets and protective clothing, I ended up with dozens and dozens of bites all over my body. It was a rough week of recovery after 😅

Our protected lands have been sold out to a foreign mining company, who will then sell what they harvest to China. This isn’t America first.
