The goal is simple: cut through a large log as fast as possible while keeping the cut clean and controlled. Are you traditional climbing saw or battery powered? Obviously, this is just satire! And all jokes aside… It’s a bit strange to see such strong opinions and identity around chainsaws. Be it brand, fuel type, size etc. For us, every chainsaw has a purpose. There is a scenario where each will be the preferred tool for the job. When climbing and limbing small branches on evergreens the electric is great because you don’t need to pull it over every 5 seconds or listen to it idle and waste fuel. But when it comes to power and cold weather the ripsaw 201t is the one I’d choose. It’s doesn’t seem to be are you electric or gas, for most it’s when electric and when gas? What has been your experience with the two types? What do you use? #chainsaw #logging #treeclimbing #arboristsofinstagram #logger
