January 10, 2026 — Taiwan’s education system has long been dominated by Mandarin, leading to a steady decline in the Taiwanese-speaking population. With the official inauguration of the first public "Taiwanese Language Experimental Elementary School," observers are watching closely to see if this can spark a turning point for the aging local language. 37-year-old Kaohsiung resident Huang Zi-wei grew up in a Taiwanese-speaking household. Now a father, he proactively creates a Taiwanese-speaking environment for his daughter, insisting that the elders in the family speak to her exclusively in the language. "Even before we had children, we decided we would speak Taiwanese to them. Back then, the thought was simple: since I know the language, it would be good for my child to learn one more skill." Now six years old, his daughter, Xing-fei, speaks fluent Taiwanese and can chat with adults at markets and restaurants. However, the real challenge lies in the school system. Because Taiwan’s education is predominantly Mandarin-based, most children stop speaking Taiwanese once they start school. As Xing-fei prepared to enter elementary school last year, Huang was deeply concerned. Fortunately, Beiling Elementary School in Kaohsiung emerged as Taiwan’s first "Taiwanese Language Experimental Elementary School," allowing students to receive an education within the formal system using Taiwanese as the primary language and Mandarin as a supplement. The school transitioned from a traditional model and is not close to the Huang family’s home in the Qiaotou District. However, after discussing it with his wife, the couple decided to spend over half an hour commuting each way every day to drop off and pick up their daughter in the Luzhu District, making her part of the first wave of freshmen since Beiling’s transformation.

The Smart Way to Remove Clothing Tags! Clothing tags can actually be removed without cutting them. If you look closely, the tag fastener has a cone-shaped head. The pointed end slides in easily, but the thicker part gets stuck inside the lock — that’s why it won’t come out. To remove it, slowly insert the pointed tip back into the locking hole. Once it aligns properly, the lock releases, and the tag slides off smoothly. #InterestingFacts #MindBlowingFacts #HowThingsWork #DailyKnowledge #FactReels

In an international match between Sweden national football team and Norway national football team ⚽🇸🇪🇳🇴, players prepare for a corner kick while the stadium watches the play closely. Suddenly a yellow cat climbs up the corner flag 🐱😳, surprising players, referees and fans in the stands. Cameras zoom in as everyone laughs at the unexpected visitor on the field. The female referee jokingly shows a red card to the cat 🟥😂, but the cat suddenly jumps down and clings to the referee’s hair, creating a chaotic and hilarious moment while players try to help. The bizarre scene quickly spreads across social media and viral football pages worldwide 🌍🔥. #Sweden #Norway #Football #Soccer #FunnyFootball #ViralFootball #CatOnPitch #StadiumMoment #ScandinavianFootball #USA #UnitedKingdom #Germany #France #HighCPM #abdullahgürpınar #MetaSportAi

The moment when a Dutch journalist reveals a farce discovered of aliens in China live! They tried to bury the truth on a global stage, but one brave journalist pulled back the curtain. Here’s what they don’t tell you: ✅ The existence of extraterrestrial life is the most closely guarded secret. When evidence surfaces, governments collaborate to discredit and hide it. ✅ This “revelation” was a controlled demolition of the truth. By labeling it a “farce,” they program the public to dismiss all future evidence. ✅ Why China? Because it’s a closed society where information is easily controlled, making it the perfect scapegoat for a coordinated global disinformation campaign. ✅ The fact that this was broadcast live was no accident. It was a calculated risk to make the debunking seem more legitimate and spontaneous. The lesson is clear: The truth about what—and who—is out there is being hidden in plain sight, and anyone who tries to reveal it is silenced or made a mockery. 💬 Comment “FARCE” if you believe this was a staged disclosure. ❤️ Like if you know the truth is out there. ↗️ Share this with someone who questions the official narrative. #AlienDisclosure #HiddenInPlainSight #TruthSeeker #LiveBroadcast #TheyAreHere

An alligator is a large, carnivorous reptile that lives mostly in freshwater environments like swamps, rivers, lakes, and marshes. It belongs to the crocodilian family and is closely related to crocodiles, but they are different animals. Alligators have broad, rounded snouts and dark gray or black skin. When their mouth is closed, only the upper teeth are visible, unlike crocodiles whose top and bottom teeth show. They are powerful swimmers and ambush predators, feeding on fish, birds, turtles, and mammals.

😭 German Shepherds tend to get along well with cats and other animals because they’re naturally intelligent, observant, and highly social dogs that were bred to work closely with humans and adapt to different situations. Their strong impulse control, eagerness to please, and ability to read body language help them understand boundaries with smaller species, especially when introduced properly. Add in early socialization and their protective but gentle temperament, and many German Shepherds end up treating cats more like pack members than prey, forming surprisingly calm and loyal friendships. A simple cardboard roll was quietly redesigned in Japan in the early 2020s to help people survive cold nights without electricity, heating, or permanent shelter. In the late 2010s, Japanese engineers and industrial designers began working closely with social workers and outreach organizations. They were not trying to invent something futuristic. The task was practical and urgent: create a form of temporary protection for people sleeping outdoors when shelters were full or inaccessible. It had to be lightweight, inexpensive, easy to transport, and usable without instructions or tools. The result was a compact, self-expanding sleeping tube made from layered cardboard combined with a thin heat-reflective film. When unwrapped, the roll opens into a cylindrical shelter that partially encloses the body. The reflective inner layer redirects body heat inward, reducing heat loss through convection and contact with the ground. No electricity. No batteries. No wiring. Just passive insulation and thoughtful geometry. Unlike a flat piece of cardboard or a makeshift box, the tube shields the sleeper from wind, damp pavement, and cold surfaces. The rounded structure helps limit drafts while remaining breathable. It does not make the night comfortable, but it makes it safer and more survivable. The design was tested in colder urban areas and gradually distributed through outreach programs in the early 2020s. Volunteers noticed something unexpected. Many recipients spoke less about temperature and more about how the tube made them feel. The enclosed shape created privacy. It formed a small boundary between the person and the street. For some, that sense of dignity mattered as much as the warmth itself. The creators were careful not to frame it as a solution to homelessness. It was never meant to replace housing or long-term support. It was a harm-reduction tool, designed for moments when no other option existed. Sometimes innovation isn’t about advanced technology or bold promises. Sometimes it’s about human-centered design responding quietly to a real need.

The resistance of the ice depends also on your weight 😇 it might hold my weight but maybe not someone heavier… Btw. it looks dangerous but this wasn’t since there was a thick ice layer covering by a new water overflow that was again frozen solid (even if still thin…) No worries we knew what we were doing 😜 #wildice #skating #nordicskating #asmr #safety
