ASIn medical research, sampling refers to the process of selecting a subset of individuals from a larger population to represent the whole. There are several types of sampling methods, including random sampling, cluster sampling, systematic sampling, etc.
Non-random methods like convenience sampling, where participants are selected based on their availability, and purposive sampling, where specific individuals are chosen based on the researcher’s judgment, are also used but may introduce bias.

Jawaban: Tergantung jenis probability sampling yang kamu pilih.
Probability sampling terdiri dari 4 jenis, yaitu (1) simple random sampling, (2) systematic random sampling, (3) stratified random sampling, (4) cluster sampling.
Untuk simple random sampling (pengambilan sampel secara acak & sederhana) & systematic sampling (pengambilan sampel secara matematis berdasarkan deret aritmatika) tidak perlu diketahui jumlah populasinya.
Sedangkan untuk yang stratified random sampling (pengambilan sampel acak bertingkat atau sampel acak proporsional) dan cluster sampling (pengambilan sampel acak klaster jika populasi terlalu besar) perlu diketahui populasinya terlebih dahulu
