[Ad] I’ve always struggled to find makeup to match my skin tone. So, when I was invited to a bespoke lipstick creation experience at Code8 Beauty in the iconic Burlington Arcade. Well, I jumped at the chance. In 45 minutes, colour maestro Juan helped to find my unique colour or will replicate a favourite discontinued shade. The best bit: Once made you name it. Obviously mine could be nothing other than PIXIE 💜 And even better: If anyone ever wants that shade they have to ask my permission. How cool is that? Now to answer the question you’ve been dying to ask - How much?! It’s £75 for the initial experience, refills are £45 and if you bring back the lipstick vessel £35. It’s a personalised service that leaves you feeling great. I love how it turned out so much. Creating a bespoke lipstick is avaliable to absolutely everyone and you should ALL do it. It’s so much fun, take a friend and make your perfect lip for your birthday, wedding day, or maybe your trying to recreate a favourite discontinued lip or just because. I can’t thank the staff enough, we got a cute little Prosecco on arrival and had such a blast from mixing the colour to creating the actual lipstick. I visited their boutique through @the.thriveclub Members Club and had the dreamiest experience creating my own personalised lipstick. I wanted an everyday nude with a bit more depth than my usual Pillow Talk and they mixed the most gorgeous mauve-nude shade that suits me perfectly. I tried it once and instantly knew it would become my daily go to. I also picked up their BB cream because it felt so hydrating, lightweight and matched my skin tone like second skin.
