It’s true coding is not an easy major at all! But what is true is the the pay off, you may not always feel motivated to code. I’m a full time computer science student as well as someone who decided to pay for a part time coding boot camp. Ik it sounds crazy but even though my major was in computer science I still felt like I wasn’t good enough. So I went part time in a coding bootcamp to further help me learn to code. But let me tell you this journey is tough and coding is still very hard. Rather than how many ⭐️ a course has, I think, can I listen to this person for hours at a time and it not feel like work? (shout out to @Ishraq | FullStack Dev🇧🇩🇩🇪 for idea) Colt Steele - his data structures and algorithms course helped me understand the concepts I missed out on not doing a computer science degree. He’s an experienced bootcamp instructor and has a relaxed informal approach to explaning things. Mike Dane - FreeCodeCamp, my first ever tutorial was with him, and I still remember sitting down in a coffee shop to watch the ‘Learn HTML’ course, and realising it was actually not as hard as I imagined. Abdul Bari - helped me go deeper into DS&A’s and understand the concepts and theory of computer science, and to be able to talk freely about time/space complexity. 🐐 Net Ninja - his JavaScript course on Udemy is the best course I’ve ever done and was the first long form course I did. He’s also from Manchester, and loved his chilled teaching style. We are in the age of the ‘digital hunter gatherer’, so go out there and find the resources and instructors you click with. 🚀👨🏻‍💻 #programming #code #codinglife #coding #softwareengineer #stem #tech #computerscience #programmerlife

When I first started learning to code, I tried to teach myself. I jumped from YouTube video to blog to random tutorials… but I had no guideline. No clear order. Because I couldn’t find a structured roadmap, I ended up enrolling in college and paying thousands of dollars just to finally have a step-by-step plan. And honestly? A lot of what I’ve learned overlaps with courses you can find on Udemy for a fraction of the cost. The problem isn’t that the knowledge isn’t out there, it’s that it’s scattered. That’s why I put together a PDF list of Udemy courses organized in a way that actually makes sense for beginners (the roadmap I wish I had when I started) Comment “PDF” and I’ll send it to you for free!
