There can be other colour groups too but these are what were mentioned in my lecture
Complimentary: opposites
Triadic: 3 colours equally distanced
Tetradic: 4 colours equally distanced (this can also be known as the square group)
Split complimentary: 1 main colour, 2 that are either side of the complimentary
Analogue: 3 colours next to each other, adjacent

LOA complementary color scheme uses two colors that are directly opposite each other on the color wheel. These pairs create strong contrast and make each other appear more vibrant.
How it works:
Pick a color → find the color opposite to it → that pair is complementary.
Common pairs:
• Red and Green
• Blue and Orange
• Yellow and Purple
In makeup:
Complementary colors are used for color correction:
• Orange cancels blue/grey (under-eyes)
• Green cancels redness
• Purple cancels yellow tones
In styling:
They create bold, eye-catching looks. Usually, one color is dominant and the other is used as an accent.
Pro tip:
To avoid harsh contrast, tone down one color or use softer shades.

One of the hardest thing to do is finding the perfect shade of foundation (I still make mistakes). You have to keep in mind your undertone, skin shade range and how tanned you are (seasonal). There are different ways of doing this but sharing a few makeup tips that help me pick a good match if not PERFECT! ♥️
1. Check the veins on your hand are they are Violet Blue (cool), Blue Green (Neutral) and Green (Warm)
2. You have a greenish grey tinge to your skin? You might have Olive undertone!
3. Jewelry test - What do you prefer gold or silver? Think when did you get more compliments?
4. Are you tanned? Keep a bronzer handy to balance the foundation!
5. Foundation match is still hard? Skip it! Stick to concealer and bronzer!

APOkay so here are a few things I do:
1. Identify your skintone - large buckets (light medium & deep)
2. Identify you undertone - if your veins in your wrist looks green you are likely to have a warm undertone. if your veins looks blue you are likely to cool undertone. If you have both green and blue veins you most likely have a neutral undertone.
3. Follow creators of your similar shade or look for creators who swatch different shades. Creates videos of swatches.
4. Google swatches of the shade online check their Google image/youtube swatches
While do are doing all these keep narrowing down to 2-3 shades which you feel would match the closest to your shade.
Read reviews and see swatches once again of these shades you shortlisted - hopefully this will help you finally to find your correct shade.
First 1-2 times you may get it wrong but post that you will figure it out. If you want to play it completely safe then I would suggest to go to a store and shade match of the 2-3 shades you narrowed down and then place the order online :)
