🚨 Can we pls talk about this bull$hit wedding cake ‘hack’? 🤦🏻‍♀️ After 10 years of owning and running a cake business I’ve seen and heard it all - people saying you can get a cake cheaper by telling your cake maker it’s for a birthday instead of a wedding… ➡️ B U L L $ H I T I can’t speak for anyone else but when I’m pricing a cake, I have a very detailed system that generates the pricing. They’re custom cake so it’s not one price fits all! 🧮 Doesn’t matter what the celebration is - why would it 🤷🏻‍♀️ A wedding cake can be for 20 people. A birthday cake can be for 100. So why would the word wedding magically change the cost? 💒 Any cake business worth its salt has a proper pricing system. We’re not pulling numbers out of our a$$, we price based on facts and experience 🤓 Brides, grooms, fellow cake businesses - what are your thoughts? ⬇️ Tell me in the comments
