 🔄 The Cuttlefish has a fin around their body resembling a short, color-changing skirt. Their muscular fin undulates & can maneuver the cuttlefish in nearly any direction: backward, forward, even in circles. ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🏎💨 When needing to make a quick getaway, cuttlefish morph their tentacles, arms, & body into a sleek looking sports car and then uses jet-propulsion to blast away. ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ↕️ Cuttlefish have the ability to control their buoyancy by adjusting the levels of gas in their cuttlebone, a porous internal shell- this is how this squishy little 🛸 UFO’s change their position in the water so elegantly! ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🤩⚡️ We could watch this tiny lightning rod for hours!

They get startled so easily when something swims by, and they immediately start darting around in all directions, bumping into us from all sides, landing on our heads, camera rigs, hands... 😆 At this spot, there were so many of them that when they all started swimming, the visibility dropped a lot because they kicked up all the sand😅.
