SMKuwaiti businessman Abdullah Al-Dabbous has offered a job to Moroccan engineer Ibtihal Aboussad after her reported firing by Microsoft.
Aboussad—who grew up in Morocco, earned a Harvard scholarship, and joined Microsoft’s elite AI team—was let go after publicly accusing the tech giant of aiding Israel’s actions in Gaza.
Al-Dabbous, the CEO of MyFatoorah, said he tried contacting her on LinkedIn but couldn’t find her profile—claiming Microsoft removed it.

Every element on the plate feels deliberate, each ingredient treated with the same care as Dabbous’s tasting menus upstairs.
The Hide Croque Monsieur captures that philosophy in one bite. Rich and comforting, it arrives with a golden crust that crackles under the knife, revealing layers of melting cheese and velvety béchamel. Alongside, the grilled smoked streaky bacon adds a crisp saltiness that balances the textural savoury sweetness of Huntsham Farm Middle White pork sausage. The homemade black pudding is earthy yet refined, avoiding the heaviness typical of traditional versions. Slow-roasted tomatoes provide brightness and acidity, while the Cacklebean eggs, with their deep orange yolks, tie everything together on a base of perfectly charred sourdough.
This is breakfast stripped of pretence yet elevated in execution. Hide transforms the familiar into something quietly luxurious, proving that the first meal of the day deserves as much thought as any dinner tasting menu. LEOver the course of the Culinary Diploma we have welcomed a number of fantastic guest demonstrators. In the last few weeks of term, we welcomed award-winning chef Ollie Dabbous. Ollie trained at some of the country’s top restaurants; Le Manoir, Mugaritz, Noma, and The Fat Duck before launching Michelin-starred Dabbous and later Hide, one of London’s most celebrated fine dining spots.
Ollie demonstrated two recipes to our students; roast duck, tender beetroot, pickled rose petals, pistachio praline & black olive and a dessert of milk veil, strawberries & basil. Two beautiful dishes with interesting flavours and several impressive techniques. A big thank you to Ollie for a fantastica and inspiring demonstration!
