IN6 FAMILY FRIENDLY RESTAURANTS AROUND GAUTENG
I know you are always looking for different places that ADULTS can actually enjoy a good meal AND the kids can have fun right? Something a little more then the usual leather bench chairs and indoor play area (am I right? 😆)..
Here are my top favs - dont forget to share with a friend and let me know if you would recommend others in the comments below :
1) @thefatoliverestaurant - Lanseria - its been a favourite of ours since the boys were little. Beautiful surrounds, epic beach style bar and lots of play areas for the kids. The perfect weekend spot
2) Dimples Cafe at @worldofgolf_sa - we are here at least once a month. Dad can golf, kids can play, mum can visit the spa 😁😁 seriously though, whether its golf, soccer, sandpits, face painting or make your own pizza, it is always a winner with us!
3)@herbland_sa - Midrand - honestly, a little heaven for the kids in terms of play equipment - look out for their seasonal kids workshops on nature and herbs and stop by the nursery. Note: you can often wait a little longer for your food. So go when there is no rush
4) @hytotyto - Midstream - If you haven't gone to this gem yet, you are missing out. Pre book a table (they offer a limited amount of walk ins). Probably the biggest play section (indoor and outdoor) Gauteng has to offer and the food has always been good too.
5) @rhinoandlion, Krugersdorp - there are actually 2 restaurants here that we love @neck_and_deck as well as the Boma each for different reasons. Neck and Deck has a slightly smaller play area but offers a more elite menu with giraffe feeding as well and then theres the Boma which has the most epic bike track and the biggest play area for the kids. Both restaurants have pools for the Summer season as well.
6) @joyjozi - Rosebank - a gem right in the heart of JHB. A great selection for both older and younger kids. The food is great (i adore the pizzas) and the staff, always friendly. Pre book im advance.
