Together we had a blast up there swinging around. When it comes to parenting it was as good as it gets. Though climbing ElCap was originally my idea it became a goal of Sam’s. Something that he worked towards everyday for a long time. It felt so rewarding to come over the top together and know that our goal was complete. I am very proud of Sam. He’s going to grow up and overcome big impossible things. It was definitely scary just climbing up to the rope!
