These birds and brush tools keep making their way to my copper plates and glass studies recently. It’s like I’m emerging from Winter stillness and the sticky decisions are opening up and flying to somewhere new. (Including my new stained glass piece which I’ll complete these coming weeks!) This new heron plate I’ll show completed later this week. I wanted to make it this time last year when similar things were coming up while I was in Japan and I was struggling to know how to land with some big decisions then too. I love how immediate its is - have an idea - raid the recycling bin and start making! you can print multiple times with each plate but they are delicate so do start to fall apart - keeping the artwork special and rare. #jennymccabe #printmaker #tetrapakprinting
