Luckily, exercise is quite literally a miracle cure for some of those negative impacts and changes. The best type of fitness routine, no matter your age, is a balanced one. No matter what, you should always prioritize strength training and cardio, along with recovery. According to current guidelines, adults 18–64 should aim for 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise per week (think: brisk walks, dance workouts, or jogging) plus two strength sessions. Break it down, and that’s just 30 minutes a day, five days a week. Then, use some of the tips in this Reel to personalize your approach!
