Munnar is a pretty high altitude destination, we don’t have many flowering trees. But these exotic trees are adding colours to our landscape.  Rich in an antioxidants, which can support various parts of out body! Anti microbial, being used against bacterial and fungal infections, as well as malaria. Its astringent actions can be why it has been used as an anti-diarrheal remedy. Leaves of Royal Poinciana are also used to support folks with diabete, as well as a hepatoprotective. In Ayurveda this tree is used balances vata and pitta.
