DCOpen Angle BP w/ Short Bat
Need to turn deep and point of contact needs to be deeper. Also need to hold direction extremely well with the shorter bat.
Awesome drill/environment for hitters who struggle with turning deep/behind, driving the ball the other way, and lack direction

SUTHE WIFFLE BAT ANOMALY 🏏 *read below*
I really like getting these young guys to swing wiffle bats.
Before we even proceeded in our training, I wanted him to take first wiffle bat swings for an initial assessment. We then proceeded to regular bat (bottom video) and you see the difference.
These young players show great swings with the wiffle bat in their hands. As soon as their regular bat comes, it seems like they want to manipulate their swings… 🤔 The goal for us now is to reveal those wiffle bat movements into his regular bat movements.

OPAn offset machine doesn’t change what good hitters do. The ball may come from a different lane, but the answer is still the same: stay stacked, control the forward move, put force into the handle, and let the barrel run into it.
