It’s so fun to leave your normal surroundings for a weekend and find somewhere new to explore! We had a blast exploring Fort Smith, Arkansas area this week. 🌸
Places We Loved:
1. Pink House Alchemy (@pink_house_alchemy) - They craft tons of different syrups for coffee and bitters for drinks. I’ve used their syrups and loved them so it was so fun visiting their coffee shop in Fayetteville! 🩷 (there’s the cutest plant shop right next door too)
2. Fort Smith State Park (@arkansasstateparks) - This was a beautiful state park with lots of trails and a water fall! ☀️
3. Bakery District Downtown - This gave total hunger games vibes but such a cool area in the heart of downtown. We enjoyed coffee at @fortsmithcoffeeco and visited the free children’s museum next door! ☕️
4. Bookish Indie Book Shop (@bookishshopfs) - This is a super cute book store and we had the nicest conversation with Grace who works there! Thank you for the recommendations. 🙂
5. Las Americas (@las_americas_restaurant) - We had dinner here and it was delish! They have mexican, venezuelan and peru inspired food. 🇲🇽
6. Lake Torraine - We enjoyed a lovely walk after dinner around this lake. They have many trails that encompass 21 miles at this spot!

PHAs America approaches its 250th anniversary, I’ve been feeling more intentional about learning the stories that shaped the places we live, travel, and call home 🇺🇸
Walking through the Old State House Museum @oldstatehousemuseum felt like stepping into moments that once defined @arkansas — from the original legislative chambers to exhibits highlighting the land, culture, music, and people who built this state.
It’s easy to celebrate milestones. It’s more meaningful to understand them.
This visit is just the beginning of exploring @arkansas_250 Arkansas’ path to 250 years — one story, one place at a time.
