CIGhilli (2004) is a Tamil-language action sports drama film directed by Dharani and produced by A. M. Rathnam. The film stars Vijay as Velu, a talented kabaddi player who travels to Madurai for a tournament and rescues a young woman from danger, leading to a high-stakes conflict with a ruthless antagonist played by Prakash Raj. Trisha Krishnan plays the female lead, Dhanalakshmi, whose life Velu protects while trying to outsmart powerful enemies. The film features music composed by Vidyasagar, with songs that became chartbusters.
