Repost from @staceynesbit99 • This was me back in 2020 suffering with cystic acne that persisted for just over a year. The doctors gave me creams, antibiotics and advised I should take the pill. They could not tell me the root cause of my acne. I could hardly look my own friends and family in the eye because I was too embarrassed and ashamed of how I looked. It wasn’t until I had almost given up looking for answers that I came across the “Liver Rescue” book by Anthony William and all the @medicalmedium books to follow. I cannot begin to thank him enough for what he has done for me. Beyond just healing my acne. I will continue to share the message🙏🏼❤️ @medicalmedium I cut out the harmful foods from my diet, EGGS🚫 GLUTEN🚫 & DAIRY🚫 which funnily enough I was actually told to eat to heal my acne. How wrong that was! You can heal❤️‍🩹 Tablets, pills, creams and antibiotics are not going to heal you. They are only temporary ‘fixes’ that only MASK a symptom or condition 💊🚫 We must fuel our body with the real healing tools it needs, provided to us by Mother Nature💚 FRUIT 🍌is healing VEGETABLES🥬are healing HONEY 🍯 is healing HERBS are healing🙏🏼🌿 #medicalmedium

Understanding the difference helps you heal faster and stay balanced. Cold Type Cold: You feel chills, stiff neck, clear runny nose, no sweat, your body’s surface Qi is “closed.” Warm it up with fresh ginger tea, green onion soup, or hot miso broth to drive the cold out gently. Juicy red pearls of pomegranate form the base of this salad that tastes great as is, but also makes a colourful crunchy and fresh side for meals. Both N& I have at least 1/2 a pomegranate each everyday, and having even a handful of these crisp juicy pearls after a long day feels like an instant refresh. You can have pomegranate as is, or make this super simple salad that adds more texture & flavour to the pomegranate. The best thing about this preparation is that and you can add/ omit certain ingredients and even change the proportions to suit your liking, sharing the ones I used In a bowl, combine 1.5 cups pomegranate arils 1 small grated carrot 2 Tbsp peanuts, soaked overnight/ in hot water for 2-3 hours 1 scant Tbsp Chana dal, soaked at least for 3 hours Now, finely chop: 2-3 Curry leaves 1/4 cup loosely packed Ccriander leaves Ginger- a small nub 1/2 a green chili Add this to the bowl, then sprinkle Salt, to taste Kala Namak, to taste 1/8 th tsp cumin powder Finish with a generous squeeze of lime- taste and adjust as needed. Also, you could also add a sprinkling on sugar- it does enhance the taste. If you are making this ahead of time, you can add everything except the two salts and store it in an airtight container in the fridge. Add salt right before serving, since it makes the carrot wilt. You could also add some cucumbers to this salad for yet another colour/ texture. Regarding consuming this when unwell- I have been told by several Ayurvedic Vaidyas that it helps with appetite and reduces the unpleasant taste in the mouth that’s common in virals and fevers. The way they’ve recommended me to eat it when sick is to sprinkle some black salt and chew a mouthful slowly, only taking in the juice- discarding the seeds that get ground to a soft paste. Not obvious (or elegant), but over time you get a hang of it. That said, I am not an Ayurvedic doctor, this is not medical advise, pls consult with your doctor if you want more info/ clarification.
