Empty your dishwasher ahead of time so that it’s ready to receive any used dinnerware. Or keep a laundry basket handy to collect used dishes and stash it in the bathtub until after your gathering🙃
• Do Over: Rethink and rearrange your furniture. Bring in extra chairs, remove your coffee table, and add extra pillows and folded blankets for floor seating. Don’t be afraid to move things around and keep surfaces clear for guests to set their drinks.
