About a year ago, we came to the realization that our pup, Pepper, was slowly ingesting plastic from her slo feed bowl.
There were plastic shavings getting in her food, and probably even more microplastics that we couldn’t see.
We did not feel right about it, because our pets are like our family. We don’t like our family consuming microplastics either!
That’s why I started making my handmade slow feeders for dogs and cats.
Sometimes life takes a turn, so we no longer have Pepper 💔 (she was an actual angel), but we do have this like guy, Ancho (like the chili pepper!) now, and we want to make sure he stays healthy too.
I’ve really enjoyed making these slow feeders bowls and am so happy to be able to share them with you!!

ME🚨: A Detroit babysitter is facing a felony child-abuse charge after a one-year-old child went into cardiac arrest from ingesting heroin, according to prosecutors.
Nicole Field, 36, was arraigned Friday in 36th District Court. Prosecutors said Field left the room to pick up a DoorDash order and allegedly left heroin on a bed. While she was gone, the one-year-old ingested the drug, which authorities say led to the child going into cardiac arrest.
The child was given Narcan multiple times. EMS arrived, CPR was performed, and the baby was rushed to the hospital, where the child was listed in critical condition.
Prosecutors also told the court there have been multiple prior CPS complaints involving Field. Those complaints were not related to this incident, and no dates were provided.
Field was given a $100,000 personal bond.

AVAn Air India Airbus A350-900, registered VT-JRB, sustained significant damage to its number two engine on Thursday morning after ingesting a baggage container while taxiing at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.
The incident occurred in conditions of dense fog after Flight AI101, scheduled to operate from Delhi to New York (JFK), had returned to the airport. The flight was forced to turn back shortly after departure due to the unexpected closure of Iranian airspace, which disrupted its planned route.
According to Air India, the aircraft had landed safely in Delhi and was taxiing when the right engine struck and ingested a foreign object, identified as a baggage container, causing engine damage. No injuries were reported.
The aircraft was taken out of service for inspection and repairs, and the incident is under review.
