Do this before blaming the algorithm 👇 In my very first account, I thought I was doing everything right. I was posting daily, but still reaching no one new. These 3 silent settings were blocking my growth, and I didn’t even know it. Before you spiral about low reach, check these: 1️⃣ Check your account status Go to settings → Account Status. If everything’s green, you’re good. 2️⃣ Audit your hashtags Some are secretly banned, and using them tanks your reach without warning. 3️⃣ Train your Explore page Instagram shows your content to people who match your feed’s interests. So if your Explore page is random, your reach will be too. Tap “Not Interested” on what’s irrelevant. “Interested” on what aligns. These are the basics, but I used them and more, to go from 0 to 5K+ followers in 8 weeks. If you want my small account growth blueprint, comment SYSTEM and I’ll send it over!

Drop me "viral" in the comments 👀 ⚡️ First, make sure that you have a professional account 1️⃣ Suggested content ✨️ Go to “Settings" and click on "suggested content” ✨️ Choose specific words and phrases for content you DON'T want to see ⇢ Add keywords for content that keep popping on your feed that DOESN'T relate to your niche 2️⃣ Niche content ✨️ Go to the Explore page ✨️Select posts and reels that fit in your niche, click on the 3 dots and select "Interested" ⇢ This will notify the algorithm what your account is about and give you more visibility as you're making it clear to IG what type of content you post. 3️⃣ Refresh your search history ✨️ Tap your profile photo, go to Settings, and select "Your activity" ✨️ Go to "Recent searches" ✨️ Hit "Clear all" ⇢ You're starting over with a clean slate 🙌🏻 4️⃣ High quality videos ✨️ Go to “settings and privacy” ✨️ Click on “media quality” in the ‘your app and media’ section. ✨️ Turn on “upload at highest quality”. ⇢You're now posting high quality reels 5️⃣ Crossposting ✨️ Go to "Settings" and scroll down to “crossposting” ✨️ Turn on “Recommend reels on Facebook” ⇢This will give your content more chances to be discovered (and no, you don't have to post to your personal FB page 😋) 6️⃣ Suggested accounts You’ll need to do this on a laptop ✌🏻 ✨️ Go to your profile and click on “Edit profile” ✨️ Scroll down and turn on “Show account suggestions on profiles. ⇢This will suggest your profile as a similar account when someone follows a profile in the same niche as yours and increase discoverability. LIKE & SAVE your own reel This will signal to IG that your reel is getting engagement and will tell the algorithm to push it out to a wider audience. 2. SHARE your reel to your stories Share is the most important engagement metric that the algorithm prioritize. This will also get immediate views on your reel as views in stories and therefore count towards your total reel views and watch time. 3. COMMENT 3 times on your own reel Include a CTA with your keyword, your keyword, your favorite emojis or a question for your audience. Make sure to pin your CTA to the top. 4. ENGAGE for 10 minutes Respond to older comments, reply to DMs, and engage with other accounts either inside or outside your art niche. 5. REPLY to comments that are immediately left on your reel The key is to leave meaningful comments that will prompt a response back. Again, questions are a great way to keep the conversation going. More comments, more positive signals to the algo. These little tips will help to boost your engagement and indicate to Instagram’s algorithm that your content is of interest and it will then push out your content to more people.
