設計師 Jean-Louis-Domecq 一開始因為找不到合適自己使用的工作燈，用了鋼管跟燈罩組合成第一盞 Jieldé 工作燈，卻意外的大受歡迎。
中空的鋼管，將電線很巧妙的藏在裡面。配上簡單的金屬臂，和機械原理，創造出可自由的調整角度。高度耐用的經典燈，沉甸甸的金屬底盤，使用起來更為安心。每盞燈都保有最原始的工業細節，直到現在都還是法國的老工廠制造。出產的燈具都付有編號，也有多種尺寸可選擇從壁燈到桌燈，1節-6節都保有最嚴謹原始的製造。
廣受歐洲和日本室內設計師的喜愛，於國內外居家設計雜誌也經常曝光，是一盞低調又耐看的工作燈。當然 Jieldé 也迎合現代潮流，採用砝瑯塗料生產許多顏色變化。顏色非常飽和、耐久，讓消費者可有多種選擇
