So we’ve spoke to just about every person we know. This Kona Low type system isn’t about one big hit, it’s a slow buildup. Days of rain (Tues–Fri+) mean impacts can stack over time increasing flood risk statewide. ⚠️ Not just heavy… it is persistent ⚠️ The Higher risk comes from duration, not intensity Because it lingers, the ground gets saturated, runoff increases, and flooding risk builds over time.
