This custom-built bicycle replaces its rear wheel with two separate semi-circles mounted side by side. The halves are timed so precisely that as one leaves the ground, the other makes contact, creating a continuous rolling motion that mimics a full wheel. The front wheel stays standard. The result? A surprisingly smooth ride on flat pavement that genuinely works.
What looks like a joke is actually a functioning proof of concept in mechanical engineering. The timing, the weight distribution, the rhythm of the two halves syncing together mid-ride, all of it has to be dialed in perfectly for this to move without throwing the rider. And it does.
This is what creative engineering looks like when someone stops asking “why would you do that?” and starts asking “what if you could?”

The dentist then proceeds to administer an injection into the man’s upper left gum. The patient winces and lets out a small groan of discomfort before the dentist finishes and tells him he’ll be back in a few minutes to let the numbing agent take effect.
As the dentist leaves the room, the man asks, “How long do I have to wait?” However, as he continues to repeat the question, the Novocaine begins to kick in with surprising speed and intensity. His speech quickly slurs, and his mouth begins to hang open. Within seconds, his attempts to speak devolve into a series of loud, distorted, and increasingly bizarre vocalizations. The man’s face becomes slightly contorted as he loses control of his jaw muscles, and he spends the remainder of the clip letting out a long, continuous, and strangely melodic “Aaaaahhh” sound that fluctuates in pitch, appearing both confused and amused by his own sudden inability to speak.
