Check out this project created by one of our 9-year-old Ninjas! Using overlap events, repeat loops, score variables, and other events like 'on A button pressed', Jett was able to create a fun and interactive game inspired by Breakout for the Atari! Collision/overlap events are what trigger other things to happen in the game, such as the bricks breaking and the player losing the ball if it touches the red line. This is an important concept that is used in real video game development all the time! This is how our Ninjas build real coding skills through hands-on projects while also developing critical thinking and creativity.
