Sometimes they are uniform. Either way, they reflect the feeling. I’ve been working from clay following my winter inspiration sketch book pages. I wanted to just play with the mark making and try not to worry about the end result. This allows a more free feel and I don’t worry so much about it being good enough. In many ways I do my best work when I let go. This is difficult when you have pressure to get work done for exhibitions, but pressure makes me do rushed work I’m often not happy with.
