Ready to have illusion and reality truly blurred? @london_paradoxmuseum challenges the way you view the world with optical illusions, perspective-shifting rooms and interactive installations, mirror mazes and even gravity defying spaces. Located directly opposite Harrods, a visit to the Paradox Museum can be combined with a visit to London’s most famous department store. During half term the Love Your Brain Paradox Path is running which features questions based around the exhibitions. Our favourite room was the Zero Gravity Room: where you defy balance, movement, and gravity! This is an additional extra on top of the ticket. We visited on a Saturday and at peak time it was very busy with queues to access the installations and get pictures, this also meant it was a struggle to complete the trail which is £5 add on. I also would have preferred more information about the illusions but they were mostly just photo opportunities and we completed the museum quite quickly as we didn’t want to queue for everything. That said it was really good fun, Oscar loved it plus there were some very cool illusions which I’ve not seen before.
